Meet in person

See the car at the showroom and inspect it before any payment. A serious seller will welcome a test drive and an independent inspection.

Do not transfer a deposit to hold a car you have not seen. Pay at the showroom against a receipt, and keep every document.

Ask for the registration card, the chassis number on the car and the service history, and make sure they match the listing.
